About Us
Captain Bob Goodwin is a genuine Florida Cracker, born in Oldsmar, Florida, located on the shore of Tampa Bay. A local fisherman for over twenty-five years, he landed his first tarpon at age ten in Old Tampa Bay. Captain Bob got his first boat when he was twelve and began fishing the local mangroves and backwaters. Today, Captain Bob enjoys guiding avid anglers to local "honey holes" as well as teaching new fishing enthusiasts of all ages. Snook and tarpon are his favorite gamefish.
Captain Bob is U.S. Coast Guard licensed (#306 881) and insured.

Captain Bob's boat is a 24' 240 Bay Scout with a Yamaha 200 HPDI Series outboard motor. The Bay Scout is ideal for tackling the flats or chasing kingfish offshore.
